Up & Over Doors operate in two different ways:
A canopy up and over garage door operates with the aid of a large spring located on the top of the garage door. Whilst under tremendous tension, this spring forces the up and over garage door to open or close with the aid of spindles, cones and cables. Once open, approximately one third of the garage door protrudes overhead, hence the name ‘Canopy Door.
